BEIJING — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 18, 2010 — The three-day CGDC 2010 (China Game Developers Conference 2010) has come to an end. This year’s CGDC is designed to accelerate the export of Chinese games, as indicated by a number of topics and the speakers’ qualifications.
A speech titled “West Meets East – Expanding Entertainment and Technology into Global Markets” was given by Faruk Yerli, Founder, President and Managing Director of Crytek, on August 1.
Mr. Faruk Yerli shared Crytek’s growth story, citing its cross-category, platform, geography and culture development from a barely-known virtual team to a globally leading cross-sector and cross-industry digital entertainment technology company. Faruk believes that the best way for Chinese game teams to mitigate risk when expanding their overseas market is to converge the Chinese and Western styles, for which AION has set a great example.
China Game Developers Conference (CGDC) is one of the world’s leading game development conferences. Each year, CGDC attracts over 3,000 professionals in the game development field to attend and learn. Over 70 global top-notch game designers and developers deliver speeches there and share their experience in the 3-day event.
