According to the August 2014 Econsultancy report, telecom marketers dedicate almost half (46%) of their marketing budgets to digital marketing technology, which is significantly higher than the average of 38% across all other sectors. Apps topped the list of channels telcos will use to engage with mobile users over next 12 months. Respondents also said 58% of their Web users are multichannel (accessing both mobile and desktop), making the multi-platform marketing play a top initiative for telecom marketers in 2015.
