SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 29, 2012 — (PRNewswire) — �Tiger Remarketing Services is auctioning more than $1 million worth of state-of-the-art post-production equipment and studio furnishings in an online sale at The auction features items from Solid LA, an animation studio that has created stunning visual effects for the likes of Madonna, Rihanna, the Spice Girls, EA Games, Lexus, HBO Video and DirecTV.  Bidding is now under way and will close in rapid succession, live auction style, on Sept. 6 at 10:30 a.m. (PDT).

The sale encompasses nearly anything an entrepreneur would need to start a post-production business, including more than 20 Apple computers, as well as top-tier editing, compositing and audio software from renowned names such as Adobe, Autodesk and Avid.  The 28-year-old Santa Monica studio, is downsizing its operations as it transitions to a new, digital-only business model.

A sale preview will be at 1616 17th St. in Santa Monica on Wed., Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

With names such as Panasonic, Pioneer, Sony, Digidesign, Yamaha, Crown and Kramer, to name a few, the sale features a wide array of HD cameras, DVD and DAT recorders, card readers, mixers, sync generators, breakout and distribution boxes, amps, switchers, sound processors and more. Tape stock including more than 200 HDCAM SR, HDCAM, DVCAM, DigiBeta and DVCPRO tapes. A wide variety of color monitors, including Sylvania and LG flat-screen TVs, as well as audio components such as speakers, subwoofers, receivers and headphones, will also be auctioned. In addition, the auction features more than 20 Apple Computers, including Mac Pro, Mac G5, Mac Mini, iMac and MacBooks, along with numerous PCs, storage devices, drives, servers, server racks, render nodes and more.

Office equipment being sold includes printers, scanners and copiers, as well as high-quality furnishings such as carbon-fiber editing desks, matching ebony-wood desks, chairs, conference tables, upholstered leather furniture, bookcases, lamps, artwork, rugs, and kitchen equipment.
