During the event, high-level executives from the aerospace manufacturing industry will gain a complete industry perspective through presentations and panel discussions. The conference will enable delegates to learn about the best possible solutions for their manufacturing operations and meet the individuals responsible for designing and building these parts. The agenda will address tooling, machining, equipment, components, advanced materials, engineering, additive manufacturing, and technological systems.
Featured speakers include representatives from Airbus Americas, ATI Allvac, Axiam, Boeing, Boston Consulting Group, Dassault Systemes, Deloitte, GKN Aerospace, ICF SH&E, KAPCO, Kennametal, Makino, Ontic, Stratasys and many others. The Honorable Robert Bentley, Governor of Alabama, and Mobile, AL Mayor Sandy Stimpson are attending as well.
As part of the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to tour aerospace facilities in the Mobile area on April 2. The tour includes a visit to UTC Aerospace Systems Aerostructures facility, where the company's Alabama Service Center and OE operations are co-located, as well as a visit to ST Aerospace Mobile, a fully certified FAA and EASA Repair Station located at Brookley Aeroplex. The tour concludes with a drive around the perimeter of Airbus' Final Assembly Line, currently under construction, narrated by a host from Airbus.
