The French company TVPaint Développement is proud to announce the 20th anniversary of its 2-D digital animation technology and celebrates this event with its community by publishing a new website: tvpaint.com. This site includes more detailed information in a more accessible design and layout.

TVPaint Développement is behind powerful 2-D animation software such as TVPaint (developed in 1991 on the Amiga), Aura (1995-2002), Mirage (2003-2005) and, more recently, TVP Animation.

TVP Animation's strength comes from its technology based on the bitmap. Thanks to this technology, the user can easily and instantaneously recreate any traditional rendering and animate it in gouache, watercolor, oil painting or chalk filters. It remains a competitive alternative to traditional vectorial 2-D animation.
