ESSS Introduces VCollab CAE Collaboration Solutions to South America

May 7. 2012 -Troy, MI—Visual Collaboration Technologies Inc. (VCTI), the creator of VCollab 3D Visual Collaboration Software for CAE, announced today that it has partnered with Engineering Simulation and Scientific Software (ESSS), a leading provider of CAE modeling and numerical simulation software and services, to distribute VCollab software as part of ESSS’s extensive CAE solutions portfolio. ESSS will offer VCollab and VCollab’s facilitating CAX file format to bring benefits such as smaller CAE file sizes and increased file portability to end users in automotive, turbo machinery, manufacturing, and other industries. ESSS will distribute VCollab throughout South America.

ESSS delivers a complete range of mathematical modeling and numerical simulation solutions to a wide spectrum of industries. As part of these solutions, ESSS will offer VCollab and CAX as a means for enterprise teams to shrink massive CAE data into significantly compressed and portable files that can be easily shared, visualized in 3D, and stored—options that have until now been out of reach to industries using simulation in product design.

“We welcome ESSS to our partner network as they offer customers excellent technologies, methodologies, and subject matter experts for CAE application development.  With VCollab integrated into ESSS solutions, end users gain easy access to a greater pool of CAE, CAD, and CAM data to solve complex product design issues,” said Prasad Mandava, CEO of Visual Collaboration Technologies Inc. “As our mechanical systems become increasingly complicated, breakthrough design improvements come from harnessing knowledge from all enterprise teams and maximizing collaboration around that knowledge.”

“VCollab fits well into the ESSS multi-approach method of application development.  To build excellent solutions, we utilize the best-fitting tools and methodologies for each part of the application development process.  The key here is access to the best resources.  VCollab and CAX do the same for design and simulation problems.  For the first time, all enterprise teams have painless access to comprehensive CAE, CAD, and CAM datasets, deepening data review, and extending data access between analysts, designers, non-technical specialists, managers, and all decision makers,” said Clovis R. Maliska Jr., President of ESSS.
