IRVINE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Oct 15, 2009 -- EON Reality, the world's leading interactive 3D software provider, is launching a 6.5 M EUR Interactive Digital Center and Experience and Discovery Center partnership in collaboration with Portuguese chamber of commerce and local entrepreneurs. The Center, named INSIZIUM, will be located in Santa Maria da Feira in Europarque Congress Center and Visionarium Science center.

Europarque is an economic and cultural development project with features unique in Portugal. The complex generates events of an entrepreneurial as well as cultural, scientific, technological and recreational nature. The Europarque occupies a site covering a total area of 150 hectares.

Visionarium is a science center with state-of-the-art interactive displays covering subjects ranging from the Portuguese voyages of discoveries to the interiors of microchips and cells.

The initial focus of the Center will be to address the regional needs within interactive Product Content Management, Simulation-Based Learning, Augmented Tele Immersion and Experience Discovery solutions. Special focus will be dedicated to industries that are locally strong such as environment, tourism, furniture and molding.

The Center is supported by Associação Empresarial de Portugal (AEP) (Portuguese Business Association), a Portuguese chamber of commerce, EON Reality, local Venture Capitalists and EU funds through the National Strategic Reference Framework (QREN). QREN is valuing Portuguese knowledge, science, technology and innovation and the promotion of high and sustained levels of economic development and socio-cultural and territorial qualification.

The Center will be equipped with State of the Art Virtual Reality and Interactive Digital Center facility including:

--  EON I Auditorium
--  EON Immersive HMD Station
--  EON Development Lab, and Project room
    

This equipment set up system can be used for visualization of large complex data sets or for commercial work such as design reviews, focus groups, product launches and training.
