LOS ANGELES and LONDON and PARIS, March 22, 2016 — (PRNewswire) —

LOS ANGELES and LONDON and PARIS, March 22, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- In his feature film ODYSSEA 3D, legendary Ocean Explorer, Jean-Michel Cousteau has created a 90-minute ode to the ocean taking audiences on a dive of a lifetime. For the first time we are able to see what life truly looks like for the world's smallest sea creatures. In an effort to raise awareness that without healthy oceans, humanity is at risk, and to finalize ODYSSEA 3D, the producers have launched a $300,000 Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign at  http://bit.ly/GogoOdyssea3D.

"In order to really see the unique behaviors of these animals in their habitat and daily life, we needed to slow the camera down to capture their daily interactions," says Jean-Jacques Mantello, Co-Director of the film.  "Over this three year odyssey, we've developed new technologies during the filming of ODYSSEA 3D. We have created a film that will hold even the most accomplished divers' attention," adds Mantello. "To accompany the audience on this dive, Composer Christophe Jacquelin has created a brilliant score that is seamlessly matched to the film."

"We are all connected to the ocean," adds Cousteau. "Without healthy oceans, no life, not even on land, can exist. With ODYSSEA 3D, the world can see the importance of the ocean, creatures big and small and the human connection can not be seen by accomplished divers or even the naked eye," adds Cousteau.

"While ODYSSEA 3D has been partially financed by investors and sponsors, crowdfunding through Indiegogo allows us to invite anyone and everyone from around the world to be part of our film. "We raised $50,000 and have added new perks to help us reach our goal of $300,0000 in under twenty days. I am excited that our project is gaining momentum," adds Producer Francois Mantello. "There are exciting new perks including a Director's Cut Screening in LA, invitations to a private event with Jean-Michel Cousteau in Cannes, and an Online Q&A Conference including a surprise eco-friendly gift bag and even some autographed perks."

"Without healthy oceans, no life, not even on land can exist," adds Cousteau. To contribute and check out all of our fun and exciting perks visit http://bit.ly/GogoOdyssea3D
