ESPRIT 2008 by DP Technology to be exhibited at the WESTEC 2008 Exposition & Conference, Los Angeles, Calif., March 31-April 3

Camarillo, Calif. — March 13, 2008 — DP Technology’s ESPRIT 2008 computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software will be exhibited at the WESTEC 2008 Exposition & Conference, scheduled to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in Los Angeles, Calif., March 31-April 3.

With nearly 600 exhibitors, WESTEC 2008 will serve as a staging ground for the latest machine tool, metalworking and advanced manufacturing technologies, in addition to hands-on workshops for and demonstrations of basic machining, milling and more.

ESPRIT 2008 will be exhibited at booth No. 4232, where there will be opportunities for one-on-one demonstrations and presentations of the new features available within the latest generation of the product, including turning stock automation for lathes, open-pocket milling, EDM machine specific machining technology, improved 3D machining performance, B-axis turning for 5-axis mill-turn machines, and more.

In addition to increasing the performance of the CAM software, the upgrades on display at WESTEC 2008 and available within ESPRIT 2008 reduce the time required to produce part programs while increasing the quality of those programs and helping to reduce machining cycle times.

ESPRIT is a high-performance computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system for a full range of machine tool applications. ESPRIT delivers powerful full-spectrum programming for 2–5 axis milling, 2–22 axis turning, 2–5 axis wire EDM, multitasking mill-turn machining and B-axis machine tools, and high-speed 3- and 5-axis machining.

I am really impressed with the number of different axis available. I didn't think there were machining centers out there with so many.
    Have a good one,
